The project You(th) ReACT will include two main activities

1. Training in Georgia in April 2020

2. Training in Germany in August 2020

The project involves following countries: Georgia (6), Ukraine (4), Armenia (4), Azerbaijan (4), Germany (5), Italy (4), Spain (4) and Cyprus (4).

In order to fulfil our objectives, we will organise 2 transnational activities:

1- „YOU(th)Re(ACT)!“ a 5-day training dedicated to youth workers/leaders and young people with fewer opportunities in Tbilisi, Georgia. The first training will gather 35 youth workers to discover alternative ways of participation, discrimination and the ways of combating it. in order to bring back to their organisation the competences and tools necessary to accompany young people from vulnerable groups in launching a local initiative. The majority of our participants to this seminar will be youth workers or young peers who come from a disadvantaged/vulnerable background (young people with fewer opportunities), and preferably the same as their target group for the project.

2. „YOU(th)Re(ACT) 2!“ – a 5 day seminar dedicated to non violent activism and to use it as an alternative way of youth participation – in Hanover, Germany.

Local phases will be organised at local level within each of the partner organisation for the preparation and implementation of a local initiative in collaboration between youth workers/youth organisations, young people coming from vulnerable groups and at least one stakeholder from the local community.

Paticipants requirements:

Experience as an active youth worker and able to communicate in English

The age of participants for activity 1 and 2 – training is 18 +; there won’t be an age limit.
